SUI 翆
On Tuesday, March 10th, Suntory will launch Sui.
A new standard in Japanese gin, Sui combines the traditional eight gin botanicals juniper berry, coriander seed, angelica root, cardamom, cinnamon, bitter orange peel and lemon peel, and adds yuzu (Japanese citron), ryokucha (green tea) and ginger, for a uniquely Japanese, refreshing taste which can be enjoyed not only in a bar, but also goes well with everyday meals.

The bottle
The name Sui 翆 means jade, so the bottle reflects this with green color accents. The bold kanji character is inked by master calligrapher Tansetsu Ogino and an image of a kingfisher, the kanji 翡翠 for which also means "jade," appears on the bottle, conveying Suntory's hope that Sui spreads its wings in the Japanse gin market.
