Live houses have become very popular in Japan and the term usually refers to live music clubs featuring different genres of music such as rock, folk, blues, jazz, etc.

Please be aware that due to the emergency state in Japan and coronavirus, many of the live houses, night bars have been temporarily closed.

There have been cases in Japan where people have been tested positive after going to a live venue and attended concerts, so until everything calms down, many venues are being closed until the emergency state is lifted.
