Cosplayers to Watch: Nakanojojo (Photos and Interview)
Seeing how Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train became the fastest film in Japanese cinema history to make 10 billion yen (around USD $95.9 million) since its October 16th release, it's quite clear that the craze over Demon Slayer is showing no signs of slowing down.
And as is always the case with popular manga, anime or games, Demon Slayer has also had a huge impact on the cosplayer community.
However, in their search for the perfect cosplay photoshoot, cosplayers can sometimes go too far.
In a post which has now gone viral with 12,000 likes and 1,500 retweets at the time of writing, a Japanese hunting enthusiast surprised Japanese Twitter users by revealing what had recently been a subject of conversation within the hunting community:
Apparently, "people wearing wild boar masks had been seen in areas of the mountain where entry is not allowed and doing cosplay photography and other things."
Of course, the most likely explanation would be Inosuke Hashibira from Demon Slayer, instantly recognizable by the wild boar mask which he wears:

The hunting enthusiast continued, warning: "Please don't. You could get shot. Even if a hunter doesn't have his sights set on you, the chance you'll get shot by a stray bullet is NOT zero."
In areas of Japan where wild boars are hunted, the season will begin soon. A hunter from Akita Prefecture where the season begins in November told reporters for livedoor news that it was "exceedingly dangerous to dress up like a boar" during this season, and he emphatically advised anyone considering it to stop.

Moreover, the hunter whose tweet went viral concluded his post with some sound advice for would-be Inosuke cosplayers seeking an authentic mountain forest backdrop for a photoshoot: "If you get permission, the hunters will cancel their hunting that day...So get permission to enter the forest."
In Demon Slayer, Inosuke is fond of exclaiming chototsu mōshin 猪突猛進, meaning "charging headlong and recklessly [like a wild boar]" (often subtitled as "comin' through") in battle, but when it comes to picking an authentic forest location for a cosplay shoot, this is one instance in which recklessly charging forward is clearly ill-advised.
