Cats definitely have some kind of innate ability to sniff out something fishy. They may be easily bewitched by a laser pointer or stick with a feather attached to it, but they know an intruder when they see one. But are they smart enough to figure it out when that intruder looks just like one of them?
This short little video experiment shows us just how trusting (or not) cats can be regarding a newcomer. Several cats find themselves forced to confront a surprisingly lifelike robotic cat in their home. Almost immediately, it sets off their kitty-senses!
For the most part, I think that showed how hard it is to make a good impression on a cat!
At least this guy didn't mind, though!
