Train nerds who also love a little bit of kawaii in their lives will soon be jumping out of their seats for the arrival of the limited edition, bright red Keikyu Rilakkuma Train. Keikyu is one of Japan's private railway operators running through Tokyo and Kanagawa Prefecture, and in this first ever Keikyu and Rilakkuma collaboration, Japan’s beloved laid back bear will be taking over the trains to send travelers to destinations far and wide. The collaboration will only be through August 1st to September 30th, 2016, making the arrival of this Rilakkuma train all the more exciting!

Though the train will not be running on a fixed time schedule, commuters who happen to come across it will be welcomed into a red train adorned inside out with Rilakkuma and his friends. The adorable presence of the Sanrio character is sure to make even the dullest train rides enjoyable.

And for Rilakkuma-loving travelers who won’t be satisfied just by riding on a themed train, there will also be a release of collaborative goods during the two months of Rilakkuma’s railroad adventures. These goods will include keychains, card cases, smartphone cleaners, pens, notebooks, and more!

Goods will be sold in related Keikyu and Rilakkuma stores throughout Japan for the length of the cute collaboration, so even those who won’t be able to ride on the train itself will have the chance to get a small but satisfying taste of the adorable event.
