Especially in Japan, it seems there are always new ways of eating tofu and new tofu products being created. Traditionally, tofu can be eaten raw, steamed, boiled, fried, and that doesn't even get into the variety of dishes made with the versatile soy bean product. However, you don't need to go out of your way to find something different to do with tofu. With a bit of creativity, as demonstrated by artist, animal lover and Twitter user @inu1dog1, you can create tofu art by cutting, carving and composing your tofu in different ways!
To celebrate Tofu Day, which is thus named because the sound to-fu can be interpreted as 10-2 in Japanese, we'd like to show you some of these tofu creations, with the artist's permission:
