The normal Premium Malt's is made through Suntory's "Natural Water Brewing" process and uses rare Diamond malt. However, for this Platinum version, they use Hallertau Blanc hops established on the Hüll farm in the German Hallertau region, which has a white wine-like aroma, and adds an "elegant aroma and smooth richness" to the brew.
The package is based on the sophisticated design of "The Premium Malt's" and the platinum tumbler motif expresses a sense of luxury which makes it perfect as a year-end reward.
