Japanese shrine meticulously recreates grounds in Animal Crossing—and it’s open for visits
Japanese Animal Crossing player てと Teto (@Doremi_No1) is incredibly talented when it comes to designing beautiful and intricate rooms and worlds in the international hit game Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Many players around the world have discovered the joys of customizing their islands to suit their own style and personality. The possibilities for customization in the game have also inspired players to recreate both real places and the worlds of various works of fiction.
As we saw before when we introduced Teto's amazing room inspired by Howl's Moving Castle, Teto enjoys recreating the intricate worlds of Studio Ghibli films. Here are just a few of the ones the player has created so far:
Spirited Away
Teto recreates this famous scene from Spirited Away when No-Face faces Chihiro in the Yuya bathhouse. Not only are the dining tables with lavish food and plates recreated, but Teto finds a way to express No-Face's body with various objects and produce the effect of foreground and background.

The Secret World of Arrietty
Teto skillfully recreated Arrietty's room. The sense of it being composed of miniatures and the way the natural world intrudes into her living space are faithfully reproduced.
