A ship only for cosplayers: Cosplay party event at Toyako Onsen this spring in Hokkaido, Japan

This March, in the beautiful region of Hokkaido, guests will get to experience a one-of-a-kind cosplay party on a sightseeing boat around Lake Toya.

Toya Kohantei Hotel put together a plan that includes a boarding ticket on a cosplay ship for this spring.

Furthermore, on the 13th, there will also be a cosplay disco event at the Kohantei Hotel.

A ship full of cosplayers is a fun idea for those who enjoy cosplay and those who love traveling or for travelers who are simply looking for new ways to spice up their trip.

Also, as TMAF (Toyako Manga Anime Festa), an event held at the hot spring resort town, Tōyako Onsen, every June, was canceled for the second consecutive year, the anime/ manga fans now finally have something to look forward to for this year.

Eve festival at Tōya Kohantei on March 11th (Friday)

In addition to the exciting events above, there will also be shooting spots for guests to enjoy and immortalize the fun moments of their trip.

Those who stay at the hotel will also get to try out the open-air bath that offers a splendid view of Mt.Yotei and try out various dishes that use seasonal and fresh ingredients at the buffet, during dinner, or during breakfast time.

Here are some other points to keep in mind before making a reservation:

The ship will only sail if 100 or more people make reservations.
The event might get canceled because of unstable weather (in such cases, shootings and events will move to the hall).
Please wear the costumes before boarding as there is no changing room available on board.
Guests can board the ship without cosplaying, but reservations are possible only for those who stay at the Kohantei Hotel during March 12th.
