About めいどいん! Maidin!
Since they are one of the famous symbols of Akihabara, you may have heard of at-home café. Some of our readers may recall them from our report in 2019. Previously known as @home cafe, at-home café is currently one of the most famous and popular maid café chains in Japan.
However, did you know that they started a 萌え moe* artist group with めいどいん! Maidin! as their name? These 16 cute maids are the current Maidin! members. They usually work at at-home café.
* 萌え Moe is the special feeling you get when you meet cute maids and see adorable anime characters, animals, and more.
The group was created to celebrate the 17th anniversary of at-home café. Their slogan is 「Maid in Your Life! あなたの毎日に、愛を込めて!』 (Maid in Your Life! anata no mainichi ni, ai o komete! | Sending our love to your everyday life!). They released their debut song 『君と晴れルヤ!』 (kimito hareruya! | Hallelujah with you!) in December 2021.
