There are times when unexpected events in our daily lives accidentally give birth to something that looks like art.
For example, you may have experienced the interesting shape of a milk puddle after you spilled some on your table, or the beautiful shape of icicles that formed outside your house during the winter.
Twitter user 幾夜大黒堂 Ikuya Daikokudou (@ikuyadaikokudou) introduced a serendipitous work of art that he discovered hiding, of all places, in his refrigerator!
Here's the photo he posted:
"I thought I'd make some fried eggs but when I cracked one open it was frozen."

Sometimes, placing food near the cold air outlets of a refrigerator can cause it to freeze.
In follow-up Tweets, Ikuya Daikokudou explained that he usually takes care not to make this mistake but this time the eggs got the "cold treatment" and this is what happened.
When they saw this frozen egg, they couldn't help but think how beautiful it looked.
The frozen egg whites seem to have a mysterious aura when illuminated by the light.
The photo was widely shared and elicited many comments, such as:
Many people have seen frozen eggs before. However, it must be rare for them to be as beautiful as the egg in this photo!
You could indeed call it a serendipitous work of art!
