With an all new and highly-anticipated anime adaptation just recently launched, a lot of fans of hit manga series Chainsaw Man and newcomers alike are getting their first taste of what makes the series so popular--including some grotesque details!
Japanese Twitter user @Pipet5656 showed another way to get a taste--literally--when they recreated the creepy and crawly Tomato Devil from the anime's debut episode. In Chainsaw Man, The Tomato Devil embodies the human fear of tomatoes, however, as not many people are actually all that scared of tomatoes, it isn't exactly a powerhouse. Still, it's multiple armed-and-eyed gross body is more than enough to make you reconsider.
Pippet cleverly brought The Tomato Devil to life on their plate, creatively organizing a macabre plate of caprese salad using tomato, sting cheese, mozzarella cheese, and baby corn.
The recreation is terrifyingly (and deliciously?) uncanny!

As the second picture reveals, Pippet also recreated the Tomato Devil's "defeated form" as well. Using the string cheese for its tendril like legs, a juicy tomato for its bulging form, and mozzarella, it really does look like The Tomato Devil has been caught and served up for dinner.
Of course, as Chainsaw Man fans know, The Tomato Devil can bring itself back to life if you don't burn the seeds. Fortunately, Pippet made sure to cook the eerie dish that has been wowing anime fans on Twitter!
