During cold weather, heating equipment is essential.

Some people use heaters, some radiators, and some use electric carpets. In Japan, people often use a kotatsu (low tables with a futon placed over it and a heated element underneath) but heated flooring, famous in Korea as a traditional house feature, is also an increasingly popular option, especially for those who are sensitive to dry air and want to enjoy warm feet.

Twitter user からあげ Karaage recently turned on her underfloor heating when the temperatures dropped. She appreciated the warmth and was grateful to have it.

It had quite an effect on her pet, too. Here's a photo sure to make you smile:

It's not a dog or a cat that is fascinated by the floor heating... but Karaage's pet rabbit, ふわちゃん Fuwachan!

With her legs spread out to allow her body to be flat on the floor, Fuwachan has a blissful expression on her face.

She's probably feeling sleepy from the comforting, gentle warmth of the floor heating. The expression on her face is absolutely adorable.

Karaage's Tweet elicited comments such as "This is too cute," "She looks so comfy," and "This photo soothed my heart."

Fuwachan will probably make full use of the underfloor heating to get through the cold season!
