“Wiped Off The Map” 5 Years Ago, The City Of Rikuzentakata Still Stands Strong
Takashi Kitajima is a photography enthusiast with a knack for capturing the hustle and bustle of nighttime Tokyo. A look at his work will show that he seems to prefer the neon glow and frenzy of the Japanese metropolis as a topic for his photography. He's now going a step further with that trend, introducing a magnifying glass to his shots, allowing us to hone in on a target amidst the twilight chaos.
This provides a nice contrast between the blurred lines of a constantly moving city and the stillness of his focus, and seems to slow everything down. Enjoy the photos below and then head over to his flickr for more!
