T.I.G.E.R.S. Sanctuary in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is home to four of the rarest creatures on the planet — furry white liger cubs that are way too cute for us to handle.

In case you’ve never heard of a liger, they are the hybrids of a male lion and a tigress. And though ligers are already super rare, these babies aren’t just ligers. They’re white ligers.
These four cubs — named Yeti, Odlin, Sampson, and Apollo — are the offspring of Saraswati and Ivory, a white lion and a white tiger that were allowed to breed.

Unfortunately for us (and the rest of the entire universe), ligers, like most hybrids, cannot reproduce. Which makes it uncertain if we’ll ever see other white liger cubs like these cuties again.

And to top off the fact that these are likely the first ever white liger cubs, the uncle of Yeti, Odlin, Sampson, and Apollo is Hercules, another liger at the sanctuary who is actually the world’s largest living cat.

Royal blood, much?

We’re pretty sure these four cubs are still living the good life at the T.I.G.E.R.S. Sanctuary, and we definitely hope the sanctuary will remember to keep us all updated (as often as possible, thank you very much).
