Last night when I dropped off at a convenience store, two women looked at me and said "construction sites lack class - it's so disgusting". That's cool, but I wanna say one thing: the home you live in, the place you work at, the place you study... they are all product of disgusting tradesmen working their asses off.

One wrong step then you might be severely injured. Tradesmen and construction workers make buildings in such tough environment. These people should be respected, not looked down upon.

What you do is so amazing. Do feel proud of what you do. My grandfather went out to work and came back in a coffin - that's how hard this work is. Ther are other jobs like rubbish collection and cleaning - but without them, we don't get to live a life like this. We should look at class through people's personality, not their occupation.
It's disappointing that some people have no respect. Although I make things, it's all done on the desk so it's a little different. For this reason, I think people who risk their lives making things are cool - I'm full of respect. Keep up the good work!
I work at a ramen (noodle) shop, and I get a lot of customers who are construction workers who come straight from their workplace. But when I see the stains on their clothes, I see them as a sign of their hard work - nothing but respect!
Sorry to butt in - my dad is also involved in construction. He always comes home muddy, and also full of cuts and bruises. But he relentlessly work everyday. I find it hard to accept people who says nasty things to such workers. Please keep up your great work.
