The Japanese love nail art, and this year’s Tokyo Nail Expo didn’t fail to satisfy even the most extravagant nail artists.

“From Japan to the World” was this year’s theme, and Japan’s top nail artists congregated to spread love and showcase Japanese nail art technique and beauty to the rest of the world.

The main event was the nail competition where brilliant designs were brought to life, and later shown off by happy models who donned the fake nails.

Although they’re outrageously awesome and definitely make a fashion statement, it’s a shame they’ll probably get in the way of... everything.
