Christmas is mostly for families and friends, but that's not the case for Japan. Japan’s Christmas is for lovers. Hotels and fancy restaurants are booked up for lovers, but not in a specific Tokyo restaurant– Spaghetti Pia Pia. This Spaghetti restaurant strictly does not want couples to visit their place during Christmas! You can easily tell by the big “X” cross sign saying “NO”.

Notice: Begin of December 24h (Wednesday), based on the cause of psychological damage to our staff, we are refusing couples to enter our restaurant.

Basically, the considerate owner does not want to see its dear staff suffer from loneliness while serving dishes. Plus, even just standing nearby customers table, they can still hear sweet chit chats from couples talking about how much they love each other.

Some comments from the Notice sign:

"Yeahh... lets do it more!"

"They did it again."

"Possibly there won't be any customer coming..."

"I envy the staff, they are lucky!

"What a marvelous restaurant!"

If you don’t have a partner to love, feel free to join in the single group at Spaghetti Pia Pia.
