Cherry Blossoms in Autumn: Japan Weather Expert Explains ‘Surprise’ Sight

The world’s largest ice cream chain Baskin Robbins is bringing an old traditional flavor back to Japan’s BR after 24 years. We are not sure why it took so long, but people are happy that they can order the sakura (cherry blossom) ice cream again. It is described as tasting of sakuramochi (sakura-falvored rice cake), with real cherry leaves as an ingredient. The subtle flavor of salt delightfully balances the sweetness of the ice cream.
