Pablo never stops surprising their customers. Last time, we introduced Pablo’s new marshmallow cheese tart, a delicious dessert for people who has a sweet tooth. Now, they are lowering down the sweetness and replacing it with Japanese popular snack food – Takoyaki. That’s right! The ball-shaped snack made of flour and cooked in a special Takoyaki pan, typically filled with diced octopus, and brushed with Takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise.

Pablo’s best known for their traditional cheese tart, a creamy texture with 2 flavors of cheese in it. As for matching the Takoyaki food, a set of new changes to deliver taste is necessary. First, they replaced the mayonnaise to mascarpone cream cheese, with a touch of Uji Matcha seaweed sprinkling on the top.

Add to that with Katsuobushi (dried Skipjack tuna) covering all around it to the bottom, the original color was brown, but it was roasted it with coconut for the overall look and taste.

Having both together as one, it is hard to ask more. The Takoyaki cheese tart sells at 1,111 yen (US $9.90) from April 1st, only a number of servings are available per day. Beware, it’s really hard to stop eating it once you start.
