Restroom door signs, even when they attempt to get artsy, don't stray too far from standard silhouettes of generic men and women. However, one store's restroom in Japan decided to literally strip away those basic characteristics down to the most basic necessities for clarity's sake.
While you could try and talk yourself into it being alien signage, or perhaps a pair of scissors and a fish, this sign should be one of the less confusing changes made for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
This sign was spotted in the Senba restaurant’s bathroom, a very well known luxury restaurant in Fukushima. The customer @K2C_BOT was surprised by the simplicity of where he should go to handle his business, despite the directness of it all.
