Stray cats that saved diorama restaurant from closure during pandemic rampage as kitty kaiju

The now super affectionate feline Chibi first showed up at a farm in Fukuoka, Japan in 2014. At the time, she was a timid stray with deep wounds on her face, and even with the farm workers doing their best to look after her, they weren't able to even make contact with her for about a year. Now Chibi can't get enough of human contact. She enthusiastically jumps and crawls all over her caretakers, and as a now viral video below shows, "sings" when cuddled and cradled. Her clinging in the video (and habit of climbing everything she can) has earned her the nickname "Koala Cat".
It can sometimes be difficult to tell if a cat's voice is in comfort or distress, but make no mistake about it--Chibi loves climbing and being cuddled by her human family. Now a resident (and mother to four kittens) on the farm, Chibi has become the farm mascot and somewhat of a public relations manager, drawing television coverage from all over the country, thanks to her love of being held.
And encouraging farm work.
