Masayuki Oki’s popular photo series “Busa-nyan” (literally Ugly Cats) is now available as a bunch of different printed miscellaneous items. Working in collaboration with Space Factory Co. ltd, Oki’s series can be purchased at Space Factory’s online store and at Amazon, Yahoo! And Rakuten.

Having sold over 50,000 copies, Masayuki Oki’s “Busa-nyan”, is a best-seller from Tatsumi Publishing. The book is a photo collection of Tokyo’s Shitamachi area’s stray cat residents, and focuses on the individuality and personalities of the cats, sometimes in the most humorous of ways. A hit amongst Japanese celebrities, Shigesato Itoi and Tetsuko Kuroyanagi as well as across the TV, newspapers and social media, the book sold out almost immediately during its release date on the Amazon Marketplace last year.
