By - Big Neko.
Heart Bread Antique Bakery's Neko Neko Shokupan, extra fluffy slices of cat-shaped bread, has become so popular in Japan among cat lovers that the bakery has opened up locations throughout the country. Now the "cat cat bread" is getting a feline family member with the bakery's new sister shop that is set to sell delicious cat-shaped cheesecake.
Japan's first Neko Neko Cheesecake store will open in the Jiyugaoka neighborhood of Tokyo, and will be a "chat-shaped cheesecake specialty store." It's first advertised item is exactly that, a cute cat-shaped cheesecake that uses the "king of cheeses" Brie de Meaux and a home-made sweet and sour apricot jam.
Each cake is priced at 1,800 yen.
While the Tokyo store will open on May 20th, they will also be providing delivery orders in Japan, with more information to come from their official Twitter account and home page.
