If you’re going back into the office after home working, the idea of having to abide by a work dress code may not be an appealing one. But if you’re an anime fan looking to jazz up your work gear in a subtle way, there’s a few options available to incorporate your favourite characters into your outfit.
For one, there’s this awesome lineup of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba neckties, which have stylish and muted designed inspired by seven different characters, and some combined designs.
The individual designs include Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Tomioka, Shinobu and Rengoku.
The front facing part of the necktie has colours and motifs that are subtly inspired by each individual character, to create work-appropriate patterns.
For example, the Inosuke tie has a tartan-inspired pattern with a hidden reference to his jagged swords.
Nezuko’s version has some of the patterns found on her kimono.
And Zenitsu’s yellow hair and sparrow are used as motifs on his necktie.
Behind each pattern is a much more explicit reference to the character, with the thinner, hidden part of the tie being emblazoned with actual pictures of each Demon Slayer.
The combined designs consist of Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke on one.
One with just the siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko.
And lastly, one inspired by the Hashira.
There’s thirty designs in total with slightly differing patterns for each character and each one costs 3190 yen. They can be found on the Bandai website, the Tokyo Shirt online shop, and the Brick House online shop.
