Because of the flexibility of cats' bodies, a theory that cats are, in fact, liquids, has been making the rounds on the Internet.
Many a cat owner can testify to the animals' remarkable ability to fit into tight spaces. Sometimes, they seem to completely occupy a space with their bodies, like these cats here. It's not a stretch of the imagination to see how they share properties with liquids.
Wait, dogs are liquid too?
However, a photo posted by the owner of うにたん Unitan (@uniko53), a Pekinese, seems to offer evidence that cats aren't the only ones with the ability to become liquids.

"Apparently, dogs are liquids too."
Unitan can be seen snugly resting inside a transparent box, looking very much as if its body has occupied the entire space.
A look from the bottom side of the box really gives the impression that Unitan has melted!

Some of the comments the photos elicited were:
Who knows what other "liquid animals" are waiting to be discovered...
