Monitoring the growth and development of a young child can be quite stressful, especially making sure they hit certain checkmarks you have them scheduled for. For instance, Japanese Twitter user Mako (@mak0_1122) and mother of one is a bit concerned that her 9-month-old son has yet to get a firm handle on crawling--at least the conventional way.
She recently shared a video that hasn't just taken of on Twitter warming the hearts of thousands, but gave her some reassurance that things might work out at a good pace for her son:
"He doesn't really crawl, but if he can move at this speed maybe it's just not necessary."
As you can see, Mako's son may not have the standard technique of crawling down, but has developed a soldier-like progression in gliding across the floor at an impressive pace!
Many left replies, impressed by the quick moving toddler.
"He's not even shaking his head. He's like a trained soldier! Too strong."
"I'm blown away! I wonder if he was an infantryman in his previous life."
"He moves so fast I wondered if the video was sped up."
