Typically the problem with throwing away used toys and beds for cat owners is the inevitable feline protest. For @nicomugichibi, who lives with three cats, the trouble came from outside.
@nicomugichibi, who lives with three cats, decided it was time to throw away their cat tower as it had broken down and become unsafe to keep in the house. She moved it outside to dismantle it before throwing away, but when returned to it after stepping away for a moment, she found that throwing it away was not going to be easy!

"My cat tower broke so I set it out on the deck to dismantle and throw away...now it's hard to throw away (those are strays)."
The broken tower was quickly taken over by neighborhood strays! Perhaps they were attracted to a comfy bed that would seem a luxury in the wild, but the cats didn't even seem bothered by the other kitty scents imprinted on it over the years and quickly snuggled up to it. The adorable sight caught the eye of many on Twitter, and convinced @nicomugichibi to postpone throwing the tower away while keeping an eye out to look out for her new feline neighbors.
