Japanese photographer captures stunning view of snow-covered Kyoto Sandbar
Kyoto experienced the first snowfall of the season on January 20, 2016.
If you are near Kyoto and snow falls, then there is one place you must visit - Kinkakuji. Also known as the Golden Pavilion, the already-beautiful shrine becomes even more beautiful when covered in snow.
So many people visited Kinkakuji on that day; many photos of it are already going around on SNS. And it's simply stunning!
Glimmering gold cover of the temple is further accentuated with the snow. It's a scene that many Japanese would love to see during their lifetime.
Although spending cold winter months can be a bit gruesome, some things are exclusive to winter. So might as well enjoy it.
