We've seen zoos and aquariums in Japan filled with funny and cute antics from penguins, raccoons, and even anteaters, but meerkats are a new, but welcome wrinkle. Here are a group of meerkats at the Ichikawa Zoo who are absolutely befuddled by a rake and its sudden movements. They run a gamut of emotions from curious to scared, but use some teamwork to pin down the rake and ultimately triumph. A victory for meerkats everywhere, and a terrible loss for people raking leaves.
