Usamaru
If you're into cute characters, you may be familiar with Usamaru, a rabbit character designed by sakumaru which first made its appearance as a stamp series on the popular social network LINE. Usamaru, Usako and friends have had their own cafe before, but this winter season between November 2018 and January 2019, they're opening a cafe with an adorable feature made possible by SONY technology.

If you are able to reserve a spot for the projection mapping table, Usamaru and his friends will interact with you, react to your menu choices and even decorate the dishes you are eating with adorable animations. Some animations will also react to your touch, providing cute entertainment as you wait for your tasty dishes, desserts or drinks to arrive!
If it's difficult to imagine, this video should help:

You can also purchase all sorts of Usamaru goods at the cafe when you visit, and there are gifts for those who reserve in advance.

Details
A minimum order of one main dish (drinks don't count) is required per person. At the time of writing, although there are still a good number of reservation slots for the standard table in all three locations, slots for the projection mapping table are all reserved for Tokyo and a few slots are still available in Nagoya and Osaka in January. You may still be able to sit at a table if you enter without a reservation, depending on availability. Projection mapping tables can only accommodate exactly two people.
