If you are a lover of all things strawberry, then XEX Nihonbashi has the perfect summer event for you: The Midsummer Strawberry Festival.
The festival is being operated by Y’s Table Corporation and will be held at XEX Nihonbashi until the end of August 2020. With the focus of the event on strawberries, you can expect to see a range of tasty summer treats to chomp down on, including but not limited to strawberry shaved ice, strawberry mousse and a strawberry chocolate fountain.
In addition to all the strawberry themed bonanza, the restaurant will also be providing their usual lunch buffet which offers up a full menu of salads, appetisers and authentic Neapolitan pizzas. To wash it all down a range of summer line ups are on the drinks menu, such as refreshing melon soda and a large variety of ramune.
The event which began on the 1st of July will be running until the end of August and allows customers to enjoy a wide range of foods from the lunch buffet and eat as much as they’d like for 90 minutes. For 2,980 yen you can get unlimited food and drinks for a 90 minute time slot between 11:30am to 15:30pm (last entry 14:00).
With the current coronavirus situation, the restaurant has taken up a number of anti-virus measures; in addition to regular disinfection to the areas that customers touch, the doors at the entrance will be kept ajar to allow a continuous airflow, all staff will be wearing masks, customers will be asked to use the hand-sanitizer at the door upon entering and they will also be required to wear vinyl gloves at the buffet counter.

XEX Nihonbashi is located on the 4th floor of the YUITO / Nihonbashi Muromachi Nomura Building, 2-4-3 Nihonbashi Muromachi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Access is available from Mitsukoshi-Mae station, of which exit A9 is directly connected to the building.
