Pregnancy, I've been told, is tough all around. From morning sickness to mood swings, without a doubt it sounds like a gargantuan undertaking just to continue the human race. According to the American Council on Science and Health, the first and last month of pregnancy are the most overbearing.
In short, I have no idea how wome handle nausea, intense hunger, swollen feet, and overall fatigue for nine months at a time. Without a solid eight and a three-course breakfast, personally, I’m sure to call-in sick.
Manga artist Tomoko Nishiyama (nishiyama_tomoko07) recently published a piece based upon the experience of one of her followers, Momo. This true story highlights the struggles of a young mother in the early days of her pregnancy.

Although it was sad to see Momo troubled throughout the early days of her pregnancy, the stranger's kindness was reaffirming. With such a simple yet considerate act, she inspired Momo to be the best mother that she could be.
