For innovative Lyon-based chocolatier and pâtissier Sébastien Bouillet, 2020 wasn't a bad year, at least not for his business. Local newspaper Le Progrès reports that demand for his creations remained strong in spite of the pandemic.
The secret to his success? Using premium ingredients in unique and artistic ways, and prioritizing passions. For example, he made fashionable chocolate sunglasses and all kinds of objects out of chocolate. But he truly surprised and delighted chocolate lovers with his Rouge à lèvres (lipstick) series when he first developed it several years ago.

Fortunately for Japanese chocolate fans, Sébastien Bouillet fell in love with this country and opened his first stores outside of his native France here in 2008. Since then, he has continued to provide innovative chocolates tailored to the Japanese market.
In 2018, he introduced his "chokola maquillage" at the Salon de Chocolat, to much acclaim:

Now, for his Japanese shops, the creative chocolatier has announced his Valentine's Day lineup continuing with the makeup theme, this time focusing on eyeshadow palettes, and adding additional Rouge à lèvres flavors:

The palettes come in two varieties: "Fruits Rouges" is focused on various berry flavors, while "Praliné" is more focused on sablé cookie and nut flavors.

Sébastien Bouillet's Valentine's Day 2021 collection will begin appearing in stores from January 14th, 2021.
In addition to the online shop, there are four retail locations in Japan, three in Tokyo and one in Osaka: Isetan Shinjuku, Seibu Ikebukuro, Isetan Tachikawa, and Hanshin Umeda Honten.
