Cinema Leap Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Tetsuya Ohashi), with the cooperation of HTC's VR content distribution platform VIVEPORT, will hold the festival from February 12th (Friday) to February 21st (Sunday), 2021.
A selection of VR movies made around the world will be streamed online, and they can be experienced by anyone from the comfort of their home. Naturally, there will be many films tailored for viewing with VR headsets, but there will also be works that can be enjoyed on smartphones and PCs.
There will also be online talk sessions featuring an international panel of guests.
All film screenings and related events will be held in Japanese and English (with simultaneous interpretation), and participants can participate from anywhere in the world.
The schedule of screenings and events will be announced in early February. Please visit the official website here for updates and details.
