The Japanese Taught At School Vs. Japanese Used By Japanese People
Feeling trapped under the new SOE? Want to travel somewhere but have reservations due to the ongoing coronavirus? We don’t blame you.
Life under the current SOE is more restrictive than anyone could ever imagine. With limitations placed on our daily lives, there’s no wonder you are feeling trapped.
But you don’t have to feel that way.
This private island accommodation in Nagasaki is the perfect getaway from both the hustle and bustle of the big cities, and the lockdowns of the SOE.
Limited to one group per day, the island offers a welcome break and a ton of unique activities for visitors.
A private island getaway – Nagasaki’s Tajima
Tajima is one of Japan’s beautiful uninhabited islands. Located in Nagasaki prefecture’s Omura Bay, the island is home to a number of traditional folk houses that remain on the island following their abandonment more than 40 years ago.
Visitors to the island are encouraged to camp, and under the supervision of an island guide, will learn how to ‘survive’ through living without the modern luxuries of electricity, gas or water.
The experience is intended to be both challenging and fun, and will introduce participants to new survival skills.
On the island, guests will experience the island-life essential skills – making fires and traditional island fishing.
The stay also includes a variety of other fun activities, such as ziplining, raft riding and bathing in a barrel bath.
This season, the entire island will be reserved to just one group at a time, so that visitors can learn, play and relax as much as they want without the added stress of worrying about COVID-19.
Guests can choose from two packages, a basic day plan for private rent of the whole island (without camping) and an adventure plan where visitors can camp on the island and can learn essential island survival skills taught by an experienced island guide.
