Kodansha Ltd. is releasing a titan-sized* edition of the international hit manga Attack on Titan as part of the excitement surrounding its dramatic conclusion in the final episode scheduled to appear in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine on April 9th, 2021.
A fitting way to celebrate the series, the limited edition of 100 is designed to beat the current Guinness World Record for Largest Comic Book Published, a title now held by Turma da Mônica created by Mauricio de Sousa Produções and published by Panini Brasil (both Brazil), verified in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil, on August 5th, 2018, and measuring 6,976.02 cm2 (7 ft2 73.28 in2). If all 100 books are sold, the titan-sized tome, measuring 7,040 cm2 (7 ft2 83.52 in2), will be recognized as the new record holder.
