Japan’s Moomin Valley Theme Park Grand Opening Decided for Spring 2019
If you love Moomins, Japan’s Moomin Cafe and Stands are the place to be. They have adorable food and drinks inspired by the beloved Finnish characters and there’s even seasonal and limited time only treats that appear on the menu from time to time.
At the moment, these character-themed joints are putting on a ‘Snufkin Fair’, in honour of the wandering vagabond who enjoys spending time with the Moomins in Moominvalley.
His iconic green hat can be seen in a new drink which can be ordered at the Moomin Cafe, a cute, retro-looking cream soda.
There’s also dishes which allude to Snufkin’s nomadic lifestyle, like the camping inspired fare.
At the Moomin Stand, which specialises in boba, there’s a ‘Snufkin Coffee Smoothie’ which gives the impression you’re growing your own Hattifattener in the drink. The topping is a crumbled cookie which looks like dirt and a super cute Hattifattener-shaped cookie has been stuck in.
Snufkin fans can also find various limited time only merchandise at both the Moomin Cafe and Moomin Shop.
Locations of each branch can be found online with up to date information on opening times.
