Trigger & Tsuburaya put SSSS girls in “Arabian costumes” for pop-up shop – because they can

Tsuburaya Productions and Trigger will be opening a limited-time pop-up shop featuring characters from the currently airing SSSS.Dynazenon and the 2018 anime SSSS.Gridman, to be held at the Dash Store at Animate locations in Akihabara in Tokyo, Nipponbashi in Osaka, and online between June 5th and June 24th, 2021.

SSSS heroines in "Arabian costumes"

Although neither of the two animated series features visits to the Middle East, someone at Trigger probably has a thing for the "Arabian Nights" look and decided it would be fun to just randomly feature their SSSS heroines in belly dancer, genie and other costumes which seem to be lumped together under the adjective "Arabian." According to the press release: "you won't want to miss out on these cute goods, with the girls all dressed up in Arabian costumes!"

So, if you're fine with the look, head to your closest Dash Store and intone "Instance Open Sesame!"

For every 2,000 yen (tax included) you spend on merchandise at the Dash Store, you'll receive a randomly selected "bromide" image (total of 5 types). In addition, as a store-exclusive campaign, customers who purchase 3,000 yen (including tax) or more will receive an entry form for a drawing to win one of two special Dash Store posters.
