Attractive Taiga Aisaka wedding dress ver. statue marks Toradora!’s 15th anniversary
If you're a fan of the twin demon sisters Ram and Rem from Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, chances are you've seen your share of amazing figures of the duo, either dressed in their iconic maid outfits, variations thereof, or even figures which follow the oft-used patterns of "swimsuit," "kimono" or "wedding dress" versions.
However, it's not often that you see something as radically different as this:
"Rem: Neon City Ver." and "Ram: Neon City Ver." figures
Imagine if Ram and Rem could somehow visit Subaru's original world, or rather, a world that looks very much like Earth in a somewhat Blade Runner-esque near future?
That seems to be the concept behind these gorgeous 1/7th scale "Neon City" Ram and Rem figures available for pre-ordering on June 25th from "Shibuya Scramble Figure":
Both figures are crafted with amazing attention to detail, both in their movements and costumes, with particular attention to their environment evoking the unique look of the "Neon City" setting. Each sister has a neon sign bearing their name as a signature piece.
"Rem: Neon City Ver." figure
Rem has a gentle smile on her face as she wields an updated version of her Morning Star. She's surrounded by mangled street signs and neon shop signs reminiscent of a Tokyo night district. One sign has the Chinese 熱烈歓迎 rèliè huānyíng, meaning "warm welcome," and, as a nod to the series, one sign says Bar 零, the kanji for "zero."

"Ram: Neon City Ver."
In this alternate world, it looks like Ram has styled herself as a graffiti artist racing through the Neon City world. Her figure strikes a dynamic pose, captured in mid-movement, riding rollerblades as she writes her name in digital? spraypaint. As a humorous hint, one of the shop signs on the half-toppled wall has ONI and the kanji 鬼, meaning "demon" in the background.
