Develop Co., a leading container construction company headquartered in Ichikawa City, Chiba, and operator of 30 hotels in Japan, has acquired "SDGs Business Certification" from the Japan SDGs Association.
The company achieved its certification for its pursuit of three of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations, divided between its two main business operations:
Rescue hotel business
Develop Co.'s rescue hotels enable local governments to significantly reduce the burden of reconstruction infrastructure, by shifting from permanent ownership of rescue facilities to temporary usage when the need arises.
The R9 The Yard Series are business hotels during normal times, but in the event of a disaster, they can be mobilized and turn into "mobile hotels" in the service of reconstruction efforts.

Container-based modular construction project
