Cat owners will know well that our feline friends love to find weird places to hang out in. Whether that’s being squished into tupperware, or becoming so obsessed with a cardboard box that they’ll fight to sit in it, there's unlimited comic potential.

This cat that recently went viral on the Japanese side of Twitter has not only found a cool place to chill out, but she’s also perfected an extra cool pose to pull off while she’s in there.

This photo which was uploaded to Twitter by the cat’s owner garnered over 30 thousand retweets and 154 thousand likes.

As the owner points out in the original Twitter post, the cat looks as if she’s sticking her head out of a car window and saying ‘want to come for a ride?’

Even though it looks like the ultimate ‘cool guy’ pose, this cat is actually a one year old female cat. The owner clarified these facts after legions of commenters noted that she looks like a handsome guy.

Not only does this photo teach us not to judge a cat by her cool posing, but it also works as a reminder to always check your washing machine or dryer for pets before turning it on!
