Gyoda Hachiman shrine is located in Gyoda city, Saitama prefecture.
The shrine has had a monthly event held since April, 2021 where they display a series of decorated Chozu Bachi (purifying water bowl) with floating flower buds, also known as Hana (Flower) Chozu.
Talented Yuji Shibasaki (@Yuji_48) Hana Chozu recently attended the event and beautifully photographed the floral fountain display at the shrine. Take a look at these photos!

It’s simply magical…!
Countless numbers of flowers floating on the water surface while being illuminated by the light from the water. These gorgeously captured shots won over many on Twitter, who left comments such as “So stunning” and “these left me in awe.”
There are only two more Hana Chozu events left in 2021, on November 20th and December 4th .
If you're curious to see how beautiful this is in person and can make the trip to Saitama, why not make a visit to the shrine to check it out? But don’t forget to make a safe trip and practice safety precautions when you.
