Art exhibition showcases collaboration between the TV anime series “Blue Period” and ArtSticker

A collaboration project between the new TV animation series Blue Period and the art and communication platform ArtSticker, started on October 22nd and will continue until Jan. 14, 2022.

The project is an exhibition divided into three parts and features twelve talented young artists and their artworks.

There are 2D and 3D projects and many forms of art, including paintings and sculptures.

The artists and groups featured in this collaborative exhibition are talented students and graduates of several Japanese art universities.

There will be various genres of works, fascinating themes, animations, and visitors will also be able to experience the world of the popular new anime series, Blue Period.

For those not so familiar with this new anime, the story follows a young high school student, Yatora, who decides to enter the Tokyo University of the Arts.

What makes the series appealing is that Yatora, the protagonist, seems like your typical high school student at first. He has good grades and many friends. However, there is nothing he’s particularly interested in. But then discovers art, and his universe gets a lot more colorful. He decides to follow the path of an artist and get into art school.

An important point of the collaborative exhibition is understanding that art is perceived differently by all, and every artist has their way of expressing it.

Following Yatora’s experience, who got dragged into the world of art after seeing a painting of his senpai, Mori, visitors will also have the opportunity to step deeper into this fascinating world and maybe understand it a little better than they did before.

The exhibition will be held in Shibuya, at the hotel Koé Tokyo.
