On November 15, 2021, Japanese actor Masaki Suda announced on Twitter that he had gotten married with actress and model Nana Komatsu.
Mr. Suda and Ms. Komatsu wrote the following in a personal message:
"To everyone,
I am pleased to announce that I, Masaki Suda, and Nana Komatsu have gotten married.
I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has always supported us and helped us.
Thank you very much for your support.
We are still inexperienced, but we are grateful for this encounter. With each day, we hope to enrich our hearts, enjoy our lives and have a happy family.
We will both continue to devote ourselves tirelessly to the works we are involved in and, together with everyone, strive to create a warm future.
As we have been since the day we met, we are comrades-in-arms, mutual providers of emotional support, and from now on, we will be family.
We're truly looking forward to thinking about our lives together and walking on the same path as we go forward.
We will face everything we encounter with care and love, never forgetting to be grateful.
I hope you will warmly watch over us as a married couple.
Thank you for your continued support.
Masaki Suga
Nana Komatsu"
The two first co-starred in the movie Destruction Babies, which was released in 2016.
In the same year, Nana Komatsu made her Hollywood film debut in Silence by American director Martin Scorsese.
In 2020, Suda and Komatsu doubly starred in the movie Threads: Our Tapestry of Love, so they must have had a close relationship and provided each other with emotional support in both their public and private life.
The sudden report of their marriage was greeted on the Internet with comments like "Congratulations! I'm so happy that my two favorite people are getting married," "Please be happy," and other messages offering good wishes to the couple.
Congratulations on your marriage, Mr. Suda and Ms. Komatsu!
