When you’re lying in bed trying to get to sleep at night, the last thing you want to hear is some mysterious, unexplained sound.
This is exactly what happened to one Japanese Twitter user recently, and the video they took revealed an unexpected scene when the lights were turned on.
Check out the clip for yourself!
When the light is turned on, it is revealed that the strange rustling was actually their pet dog, who has weirdly taken to inserting himself into the ripped portion of the bedroom’s sliding doors. He seems to get a shock after being discovered, and quickly and adorably jumps back out.
This hilarious video has been viewed over 770 thousand times, and has 49 thousand likes. Many commenters pointed out that this dog seems particularly eccentric, and that his speedy exit was very cute.
He’s actually also been caught engaging in this hobby in broad daylight. Wedging yourself in a ripped door doesn’t seem that comfortable, but there must be some advantages since he seems to really love this spot. Perhaps he has a penchant for paper doors.
If you want to see more of this quirky pekinese dog, he has a whole Twitter profile dedicated to photo and video updates!
