Here's an original manga posted on Twitter by さてよ Sateyo (@sateyo).
The main character is a man lying collapsed on the ground wearing dirty clothes, wounds covering his face and arms.
He groans in pain... Suddenly a goddess descends and approaches him.

TOP RIGHT: "Uhhhh"
TOP LEFT: "I am a goddess... I shall grant you one wish."
BOTTOM: "I don't care what happens to me... Just add a national holiday in the month of June..."
In Japan, there are no national holidays in December or June.
The situation in December is not bad, since many companies officially close their operations for the calendar year on December 28th and schools usually close around Christmas.
With no holidays in June, however, students and employees have to go without national holidays between Children's Day on May 5th, which marks the end of the Golden Week holiday, and Marine Day on the third Monday in July. That's around two and a half months. It's only natural that some people may feel a bit worn out. Of course, the "damage" inflicted is exaggerated in Sateyo's manga.
In the fictional scenario of the manga, this man who sacrificed himself to establish a national holiday in June will surely be lauded as a hero...
The manga struck a chord with many readers, eliciting comments such as:
Now where is a goddess when you need her?
