Japanese Instagrammer creates fantasy world of life with a giant lop rabbit

With their long ears and beady eyes, rabbits continue to be popular on social media for their cuteness.

We'd like to introduce たくみ Takumi (takumi_mokke), who posts images from his life with his lop rabbit もっけくん Mokke-kun on his Instagram account.

If you own a small animal such as a rabbit, it's only natural to feel the urge to cuddle it.

Takumi felt that way too. However, in his case, he was so fascinated by soft and fluffy rabbits that he began dreaming of having a giant-sized rabbit he could hug.

He decided to turn his dream into reality on his Instagram account.

Takumi, who used to draw illustrations on his iPad, explained how he came up with the idea for the project:

"I thought that if I took pictures of things, it would allow people to imagine this fantasy world I had in mind in a more realistic manner and it would be more interesting, so I gave it a shot.

I also simply thought that if a small and cute thing grew bigger, it would be twice as cute."

Many people have been surprised by these photos, especially the ones that look as if Mokke-kun is cuddling up to Takumi, and have left comments such as:

"This is amazing! This is something I saw in my dreams, too! I wish it were real."
"Oh how I wish it were real."
"I wish my furbaby would grow up to be a giant."

For people who have rabbits, this must be the world of their dreams.
