Cat owners know very well that there isn't any type of container a kitty won't attempt to fit into, no matter how uncomfortable they look. So many cat lovers have shown that in reality-bending pictures that it gives credence to the phrase "cats are liquid".

Japanese Twitter user Yusako (@yusakovichi) may have submitted some of the strongest proof for that yet. Shocked by seeing her cat adopt a very peculiar resting position, she shared a photo of it online that has many doing double, triple, and quadruple takes.

"I...is there something wrong with your body?!"

Yasuko's cat is lying down in a transparent cat tower bowl, and a combination of the kitty's body contortion and seeing what we normally wouldn't see makes it appear as if the feline as completely melted. Needless to say, many on Twitter also found the image hard to process, with some thinking it was a collage and needing to repeatedly recheck the picture to understand what they were staring at.
