Why are so many Japanese women pigeon toed?
If you're into lolita fashion, you've probably heard of 青木美沙子 Aoki Misako. President of the Japan Lolita Association since 2013, Aoki divides her time between her career as a nurse, modeling, and her duties as "Kawaii Ambassador," an official appointment by Japan's Foreign Ministry.
Some readers may recall we introduced her kawaii hairstyle in our article on six different types of hime cut, but this time we'd like to focus on her kawaii lolita fashion which she shares on her YouTube Channel.
Can you believe she has over 500 lolita fashion outfits? This video introduces some of her favorites in her "lolita fashion room":
Organized by genre, from casual to classic, her wardrobe has been turned into a collection room, a dreamlike space surrounded entirely by cute clothes.
Isn't it exciting to see a collection that reminds you of dressing up dolls you used to play with as a child?
Viewers left comments such as: "It's full of girls' dreams," and "Just looking at it makes me happy."
Some of them also said, "Your makeup is so cute!" As it turns out, Aoki has videos on that subject, too:
Many of the makeup items she uses are low-priced cosmetics available at drugstores.
She also shares an episode in the video in which she didn't wear makeup on her eyebrows because of her thick bangs.
Watching her video really makes you want to copy her pink makeup which makes her face look so radiant.
In addition to fashion and makeup, Aoki regularly shows the contents of her bag, as she does in this video:
Since it's her favorite color, her bag as well as its contents are all pink!
Every time she introduces an item, she can't help but say "kawaii," so you can tell that the bag is filled with things she really likes.
Her videos show us how wonderful it is to be surrounded by things you love.
Not only those who love lolita fashion, but also those who have almost forgotten the things that bring happiness to their lives could learn a lot from her.
